Anna Silk

Anna Silk was born in January 1974. Her most well-known role is Bo, from the Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was a native of Fredericton, New Brunswick in Canada. Ilkay who is director of drama and producer of drama and production at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. Silk's father Peter who was an academic, worked at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers her very first memory as being at play rehearsals with her mother. Silk appeared in several commercials while she was young. She earned her Bachelor of Arts was awarded by St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas produced two early shows: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk moved in Toronto for her acting to progress, and then moved to Los Angeles California. Silk met her spouse, Seth Cooperman, at an actor's training in Los Angeles in 2007. After getting engaged in 2008, they got married in 2009. Following her conversion to Judaism and they renewed their wedding vows at the Jewish ceremony on 10 April 2011. The ceremony was held in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her son, Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May of 2013. Her second son Levi Aaron was born on the 13th of May in 2016. Silk's TV work has included her part in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland in which she was awarded an Gemini Awards nod in 2009. Her most notable role was as Bo Dennis, a succubus, on the television show Lost Girl. Silk got pregnant in the course of production of the season's third finale episode. The news was announced to the fans during the Showcase show's pre-show Season Three special on January 6th, 2013. Silk is working on Lost Girl since the season's third finale episode was conceived on the 6th of January, 2013. She announced via Twitter her intention to return June 4th, 2013 as Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production on the fourth. The CNN Cable News Network named her portrayal of Bo and Lauren (Zoie Parker) on Lost Girl as same-sex couples one of their all-time favorite TV Couples. E! named them the Top TV Couple in 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk has a huge online fan base on Facebook and Twitter, as a direct consequence of its popularity.
